DIY Beauty- Roses and Cameo Nails with Tutorial.

My recent obsession is the stamping plate Pro Plate Collection 04 that I got the other day.
I did an Edgar Allen Poe inspired look with the same plate!
You can see it and the tutorial for it here
Anyway, on to this look!
What you need and what I used.
Eloise, Rebel and Susie by Julep or a light and dark blue and a grey for a base.
Dimepiece by Floss Gloss  or fine silver holo glitter polish
Top Coat by Seche Vite or your favorite top coat
Pro Plate Collection 04  by MoYou and a stamper
*Stamping polish if you wish, I don't bother with it.
The cameo and roses under on this plate are what is used in this look.
Start by applying a coat or two of your light blue (Susie) to your index, middle and pinky fingers and the grey (Rebel) to your thumb and ring fingers.
Apply your holo glitter polish (Dimepiece) over the grey polish on your thumb and ring finger.
Apply the cameo to your middle finger using your dark blue (Eloise) and then the roses your index and pinky finger.
Finally finish with your favorite top coat (Top Coat) and you are done!

So that is that, hope you like it!
Give it a try and post it on facebook and instagram using #LanieBuck

Adult Box 'The Fantasy Box' Essentials Review!

The Fantasy Box is a subscription service for adults that delivers adult items monthly. Each box contains products for a themed romantic date, and comes with detailed instructions for each party involved.
I received the 'Essentials' box from The Fantasy box to review, the cost of this one is $34. There are 2 others, one being 'The Fantasy Box' at $59 and the 'Platinum' box at $159. All of the boxes have free discreet shipping in US and you can use my code LANIE to get 20% off your first box!
The look of the box right out of the shipping package, it was shipped in an envelope with no mention of what was inside. Now on to the first goodie!
Sliquid Organics Lubricating Gel in a sample size. Being a person with allergies an all natural gel is great. I did pop this open and test it on my finger, it has a nice feel too and washed off very easily.
The back if you would like to read the ingredients.
Second goodie was a blindfold. They are not my thing since I am once of those leave the lights on kinda people but I think one of the points of this box is to try new things.
Next was a Rene Rofe Lingerie Set, I got a medium. I have a big bust but a small waist so medium is a pretty safe size for me.
The top is push up so there was extra padding but in my case it is not needed... my cup runneth over already. My guy doesn't mind so much and since this is for his eyes only the extra bust doesn't bother me too much.
My favorite thing about this was how long it is! As you can see it falls to my hip which I was very pleased with since I am pretty tall. It is really pretty on too, very flattering... ignore my "taking pictures" outfit  :)
Ovo W1 Rose was at the bottom of the box and came in a fancy box of it's own. This little guy is the same size as the picture on the box and I tested it on my hand also. It had a pretty good vibe and was pretty quiet.
A little welcome note was in the box also.
And the part of the box that got Salt N' Papa stuck in my head!
It also came with a follower, a leader, his and her cards. I am more of a leader so the follower card will be for me.

I overall love the box, the idea alone is awesome to me. It gives couples a chance to try something new, different and something fun. I also like that it starts before the bedroom... or wherever you choose to have your fun.
You can find out more about the box on their site The Fantasy Box
and don't forget to use my code LANIE to get 20% off your first box!

Inspired by Nails- Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven with Tutorial!

I ordered an awesome looking stamping plate a while ago, the shipping was a little long for me since I am in the US and it was coming from London but today I found it had finally come!
I ordered this plate for the dandelion stamps but with Halloween around the corner and with Dexter ending I am feeling dark and in the need of some blood! There was the writing, the bird and the splatter stamp so I thought that would be perfect for Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven.
What you need and what I used.
Brandt and Claudette by Julep- Black and red polish
French White Tip by Sally Hansen- White polish
Chunky Holo Clover by Kleancolor- Holo glitter
Pro Plate Collection 04  by MoYou and a stamper
Top Coat by Seche Vite
Black and or red stamping polish if you do not what to use the same polish for your stamping.
(Links are where they can be bought if you want what I used)
Apply white polish (French White Tip) on index, middle and pinky fingers.
Apply black polish (Brandt) on thumb and ring fingers.
Apply holo glitter polish (Chunky Holo Clover) over the black polish on thumb and ring fingers.
For the stamping tart with the bird on your middle finger. I used the same black polish (Brandt) for this stamp. I didn't pick up all the polish from the stamp but I liked how it looked for the bird so I didn't fill it in. If this happens to your you can fill it in with a dotting tool or toothpick if you wish.
Next use you red polish (Claudette) for the "blood splatter" using the splatter looking stamp on the plate. Apply this to the pinky and to the tip of you index finger.
Finally, finish with the handwriting stamp with the black polish again on the part of your index finger you left white.
Clean up your nails and finish with you favorite top coat!

So that is that, hope you like it!
Give it a try and post it on facebook and instagram using #LanieBuck
I'd love to see how it turns out if you give it a try!
